In the opening keynote of Next 2012, René Obermann, CEO of Deutsche Telekom, states that we are in a post-digital world. People are not concerned anymore about how they are connected. We only notice being online through a lack of it. Being digital is no longer sexy, the quality of the user experience is important over all else. Simplicity plays an important role in this context and will be, in addition to security, the next big thing. In his keynote speech Obermann explained why this paradigm shift represents a threat and a great opportunity at the same time.
